International Procurement Coordinator

Department Procurement Base Hume International Head Office, Charlo
Reports to Procurement Manager and Procurement Administration Supervisor Job Summary Assisting with administrative processes relating to procurement.
Hours Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00


Minimum qualification and experience:

  • Matric
  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite
  • Relevant qualification advantageous
  • Administrative experience advantageous
  • Understanding of costing and basic logistical procedures advantageous
  • Experience on ERP systems such as Pastel/ Syspro advantageous

Main Duties/Key Results Areas:

  • Generating international forward purchase orders and sales orders
  • Cancelling or amending orders
  • Validation of official Hume International purchase orders against supplier confirmations
  • Following up of supplier confirmations for all forward orders and ensuring that any amendments or updates are actioned promptly
  • Filing and uploading of supplier confirmations electronically
  • Validating Forex and issuing purchase order requests for signature for direct imports (based on duty and freight applicable to specific product category)
  • Validating Forex and issuing purchase order requests for signature for cross-trades
  • Generating local purchase orders and sales orders.
  • All other tasks and related duties as expected from the employer from time to time.
